About PR Agencies What I'm Building Shows Work With Me Consultation
The interview. The studio. The workflow. One call.

Built to last.
Not to trend.

I'm the guy you call when your show needs to keep airing, your CEO needs to sound human on tape, and your files need to stop disappearing between time zones. 2,000+ interviews. Behind the scenes at Al Jazeera, EO, Entrepreneur, Inc., and Cal Fussman.

Phillip Lanos

About Phil.

Thirteen years in, I've sat across the table from more than 2,000 people: Fortune 500 chairmen, founders, White House correspondents, and the occasional person who just needed to be heard. Mark Frissora (ex-CEO of Hertz and Caesars). Dhruv Saxena, who built ShipBob into a multi-billion dollar logistics company. Jay Samit. The list is long, but the job has always been the same: get the real story out of them, and make sure the tape, the files, and the deliverables actually show up.

I've engineered the studio and file pipeline for The Take at Al Jazeera between Los Angeles and Amman. I launched EO 360 and EO Wonder for the Entrepreneurs' Organization. I ran the studio for Action & Ambition (Entrepreneur) and Business Brainstorm (Inc.). And I've co-trained Scrum classes for senior people at Bank of America, Johns Hopkins, Delta, and Zendesk alongside Maria Matarelli at Formula Ink.

The thing I'm proudest of isn't on a résumé. At Ajax Union, the Morgan & Morgan account was bleeding because nobody had organized the historical tracking. I sat down, cleaned up years of fragmented data by hand, and turned it into reports the client could actually read. They stayed. That's the job: find the part nobody wants to deal with, deal with it, keep the show running.

Working with PR agencies.

PR firms hire me when their client is brilliant but can't quite get the story out. I sit down with the founder (Google product managers, venture-backed CEOs, the occasional White House correspondent) and pull out the real thing underneath. Their team takes what comes out of that conversation and turns it into the Forbes pitch, the bio, the one-pager, the segment prep. It's the part of PR that actually decides whether the press shows up.

Unstoppable Branding Agency

The narrative deep dive.

The work: Brought in to run high-stature strategy sessions and the interview track for five-figure branding accounts, including Google product managers and global founders.

The outcome: I take a complicated career history, pull the real philosophy out of it in conversation, and hand back print-ready material that's built to clear Forbes feature criteria.

Jack Taylor PR

The executive presence anchor.

The work: Retained to interview and prep high-profile founders, innovators, and brand builders right before their press campaigns go live.

The outcome: Fast-moving entrepreneurs slow down, trust me inside of a few minutes, and clearly explain what their business actually does, so the publicists walk away with the real angle they need to book the segment.

Victorious PR

The high-velocity extraction.

The work: Tapped to run intensive narrative calls with fast-scaling tech founders, venture-backed leaders, and corporate executives.

The outcome: I cut through the corporate jargon and turn scattered talking points into a structured story the agency can drop straight into a tier-1 business press pitch.
