About Phillip Lanos.

2,000 stories. 2.6 million people. Every month. That's the portfolio I run as Media Portfolio Lead at Grit Daily News. I'm also the Supervising Producer and Operations Lead for Cal Fussman's Big Questions — the person who keeps the high-profile guest pipeline moving and the show on schedule.

Before that, I ran operations at Ajax Union, where I held onto an enterprise legal account that made up 80% of the agency's revenue. I scouted acquisitions for Decus Capital. And I built Al Jazeera's Los Angeles studio from an empty room.

Along the way, I taught Agile to teams at Microsoft, PwC, and Cisco as an Agile Scrum Trainer (CSPO and CSM) — which is a polite way of saying I'm good at turning a mess into a plan.
